A Hidden Paradise in Lanzarote
Discover one of Lanzarote’s most iconic beaches, just beyond Playa Blanca. Nestled within the protected landscape of Los Ajaches, Papagayo feels wonderfully untouched.
Its fine golden sand meets calm, crystal-clear turquoise waters. Sheltered by volcanic cliffs, the bay is perfect for swimming and relaxing.
Its transparent waters also make it an excellent spot for snorkelling. From the surrounding heights, enjoy beautiful views towards Lobos and Fuerteventura.
A peaceful escape surrounded by the raw volcanic beauty of Lanzarote.
Papagayo — a little piece of paradise at the southern tip of the island.

Where White Sand Meets Volcanic Beauty
In the north of Lanzarote, near the fishing village of Órzola, lies Caletón Blanco. Its fine white sand creates a striking contrast with the surrounding black volcanic lava. Crystal-clear turquoise waters form beautiful natural lagoons along the coastline.
Sheltered by volcanic rocks, many areas offer wonderfully calm and shallow water. It is an especially lovely place for families and for simply relaxing in the sun. At low tide, natural pools appear between the lava formations, revealing an extraordinary landscape. Wild and largely untouched, the beach preserves the peaceful character of northern Lanzarote.
The contrast of white sand, turquoise sea and black lava makes it unlike almost anywhere else on the island.
